(88 posts)161. Sounds plausible, but why can't Bernie's campaign organization recruit young Dems to run in local
and state elections and bypass the DNC, who are NOT going to give them any money anyway, and see if aligning themselves with Bernie makes a difference in their chances. Right now, an awful lot of local and state offices aren't even contested and it doesn't take tons of money to get elected. A surge in voting next Nov. should mean Dem victories all over the country but only where there is a contest!
