8. The vast majority of malicious intruders MIRT deals with are repeat offenders.

I'm a new person on MIRT and I'm still learning the ropes, so don't expect me to sound like an expert. I'm not even close.

What stands out to me the most is how the overwhelming majority of people MIRT bans are serial offenders. The same few people keep creating accounts to disrupt the site over, and over and over again. At least that's how it's been this term. It's mind boggling!

At some point you just wonder why they don't take up knitting or crocheting, or anything where they can at least have something tangible to show for the time they spend on their hobby?

Also, if a MIRT person were to ban a member who it's deemed is not a malicious intruder, the admin can and will reinstate their account. It's not like a jury decision where they won't get involved in the matter. They're a very big part of the MIRT process, and honestly we couldn't do what we do correctly without their help.

If you can find some spare time you should sign up some time. It's quite the learning experience.
