if it were that simple, the majority of business ventures wouldn't fail. There are plenty of people who are highly educated and have failed at starting and sustaining a business

reading a balance sheet is useless unless you know what assets, liabilities and equity are and how they relate to the income statment and cash flows.

I'm sure you equate profits with cash too
