[View all]My understanding is that she did indeed text in class and when asked to stop, did not and when asked to leave, did not. Did the SRO have a right to body slam her? Of course not, unless she was a minority and he was white.
In my day, the granite we engraved and passed around class was very disruptive with the hammering and sliding noises but even if I only came in tardy, my dad would have applauded what that SRO did.
