58. Had a Windows 10 computer for a day

I followed the directions to the letter to create a thumb drive system restore. It was unsuccessful (tried three times with two different thumb drives). I got on the Microsoft help board and saw a bunch of people had the same problem with at least two other manufacturers. Normally on these boards a Microsoft representative comes on and explains what to do. Silence. Some hackers found a half page long procedure for bypassing the problem. Life is too short to go through this effort for something so simple. I promptly boxed the computer up and sent it back for a refund.

I am going to try to get a refurbished Windows 7 machine if my main laptop dies. I was having problems with it so that is why I purchased the new computer, but it appears to be working better now.
