His obsession with Putin overrides any concern for the people who will die in that hopeless country.

We're arming Islamists and sending special forces to assist them in establishing Sharia law. Remember those "moderates" we armed who began murdering children for blasphemy? We didn't learn. We don't want to learn. Because all that matters to this administration is fighting Russia.

Sorry. Not a pretty answer but it is the truth. The US military folks are just pawns in the new (imaginary) Cold War.

I will keep you in my thoughts as you're used and discarded by people who don't give a damn. Take heart! You're finding and creating more enemies to support our military-industrial complex. No enemies, no military spending. It helps the economy! Or something.
