I was in foster care for a time. Foster homes are about as stressful a situation as one can be in, the abuse I got there was worse than my family of origin in a whole lot of ways. But, when we were returned nothing at home had changed much either except for now there are 5 very stressed out kids and two stressed out parents that still don't know how to take care of their children.
