(13,747 posts)"If there is no sustained popular uprising to prevent the passage of the TPP in Congress this spring we will be shackled by corporate power. Wages will decline. Working conditions will deteriorate. Unemployment will rise. Our few remaining rights will be revoked.
It's time to get fighting mad and take to the streets by the tens of thousnds. Revolutions are not pretty, are not easy and are dangerous, but this needs to be done sooner than later. Voting, phone calls to elected officals and sitting behind the keyboard bitching will not stop the TTP.
If we had a full blown revolution back in 2007 when Wall St. crashed this country we might not be talking about this now.
You get a hundred thousand people standing behind me i will stand at the front and take the first baton strike, the first tazer, the first gun shot.
Organize now or forever be a slave.
