(66,858 posts)6. Cokie Roberts all but called the election for Romney on NPR about three weeks ago
Mara Liasson (however you spell it) have given similiarly optimistic forecasts for Romney's chances, endlessly citing dubious poll numbers without ever addressing the realities of the electoral college favoring Obama. Another NPR commentator whose name escapes me has already predicted that it will come down to the Florida vote in the wee hours of the night.
God knows that the media loves to pump the "horse race" angle, but the raw shamelessness of it is nauseating.
