In reply to the discussion: Tired. [View all]LibDemAlways
(15,139 posts)28. I'm tired of seeing my fellow human beings holding
up signs on street corners proclaiming that they are homeless and hungry, reduced to begging for help from random passersby. Came upon just such a man yesterday. He was sitting shoeless and jacketless in a wheelchair outside a market -- sign up, head down. What kind of a country can afford biillions for bombs and wall street bankers but leaves its most vulnerable with nothing? And politicians of all stripes don't even want to talk about it, much less address it or look for solutions. A national disgrace.
