The big news we already knew that isn't in this softball rehash: both George Tenet and Cofer Black knew that the Flt. 77 hijackers were already here and what they had in mind when the landed at LA Int'l on January 10, 2000, yet they went out of their way to order the FBI liaison at CIA CounterTerrorism Center not to send a cable to HQ informing the Bureau that al-Midhar and al-Hazmi had arrived.

Of course, after their arrival (the CIA had monitored their meeting with other 9/11 confederates in Kuala Lumpur the week before), the Flt 77 hijackers came under the care of the Saudi air attache and a cleric working at the Saudi-supported Islamic center in San Diego named Nawaf al-Alwaki - yes, the same guy the US Gov't let go right after 9/11 who went on be the al-Qaeda contact in half a dozen more terrorist attacks and attempts in ten years that followed. But, that's just a coincidence, too.
