45. Coincidence that this happens after the President says..

I wonder if this is in retaliation for the Kurdish / US attack/ recapture of the ISIS capital.

More likely it's muscle flexing due to the President saying that they were contained. They're showing that they're far from contained. They're deeply entrenched everywhere.
