So true about the golf tournaments. Wine tastings, too. There's a group which I will not name in my very red area whose sole reason for existence is to raise money for a particular beneficiary. They have at least one golf tournament and one wine tasting a year and the amount of money they raise is a pittance compared to what comes in from other sources. Ridiculous.
