101. That is horrifyingly awful and bizarre

39 year olds are not supposed to die in their sleep.

That seems like one of the worst parts to me - the suddenness and the lack of reason.

I mean, any one of us could die today for any number of reasons, no matter how old we are. We could get hit by a car, by lightning, by a tornado, in a fire, bit by a copperhead, attacked by a bear or vicious dogs or wild pigs, etc., shot during a robbery, hit by falling debris, eat some poisoned meat or cantelope, etc., etc. But at least then there would be a frigging REASON. "She was in a car accident." "She was in a tornado." Those would be understandable, would make sense. "She suddenly died for unknown reasons" adds an extra layer of to a situation that was already

Heck, people can get cancer and die at age 37 like Aliengirl, but at least then there is both a reason AND some warning.

But that's why every day should be precious, because none of us are guaranteed that we will see our 40th birthday or even our 20th or 10th.
