In the event Trump wins the election does President Obama have a responsibility to prevent Trump from assuming the office? President Obama took an oath to uphold the constitution but isn't there also an oath to protect the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic? Millions of Americans believe Trump and his ilk are domestic enemies unfit for office. I think Obama would have a legitimate basis to deny the transfer of power. I know this sounds crazy but the thought of having Trump in charge is too horrible of a possibility to allow, it would mean the end of our Republic, a thugocracy, a 21st century fascist state. President Obama would have justification because of Trumps intentions to deprive certain people basic human rights based on race and religion.
