If his less extreme brand of crazy had won out in the primaries, he would have attracted a lot of attention from Independents and Conserva-Dems and he would have made OH much tougher for us to win, not that we need it. Luckily for us, you need to be far more insane than Kasich to win the GOP nomination these days and that level of craziness simply won't sell in the GE.
