This hour is an encore from Jan. 28...discussing a new book about the Trail of Tears "An American Betrayal: Cherokee Patriots and the Trail of Tears" by Daniel Blake Smith, former history professor at the U of Kentucky. full audio is at http://podfuse-dl.andomedia.com/800185/podfuse-origin.andomedia.com/citadel_origin/pods/WABC/WABC-Batchelor/jbs_012812bb.mp3

Batchelor may be on WABC and other right wing stations, but his show is at least more NPR than PigMan, covering various topics beyond current events, such as history, art, and science. It's on 7 nights a week, 9pm to 1am ET, on 77 WABC in NYC (online at WABCradio.com) or on the air near you, go to tunein.com keyword batchelor.

I will return to the campfire TOMORROW since I'm a daily Malloy listener and don't need to hear reruns. But I recommend Batchelor as an alternative show in case of malloy repeat.
