95. Libel and Slander

And it never ends. Our media is incapable of doing their journalistic duties. The propaganda always grows new legs to crawl out of our TV's and newspapers again and again. My "fundie" idiot friends still won't believe that the video was BS and that their tax bucks cannot be used for abortions. The idea that sex education actually reduces the number of abortions doesn't register with these people. What they really want is control; control of vaginas, control of our sexual lives, and control of our morality. And it all seems to hinge on the belief that conception is a celestial event, and not a biological one. It's too much like adults still believing in the Tooth Fairy, and yet it remains a pervasive line of thought in our country. And most of these anti-abortion people heartily cheer when we drop bombs on kids in far away lands or lock up dark people in this country. Pro-life is pro-Bullshit! And that's what I call 'em to their faces. Pro-Bullshit!
