Here's a little info:

Flint, MI -- Filmmaker Michael Moore has started a virtual movement on Twitter with his goal to get up and get moving.

The Flint-area native started inviting his followers on Twitter to virtually take a walk with him every evening, wherever they're located.

Five days after he began the daily regimen, Twitter users from all over the world -- including Scotland, Australia and Afghanistan -- have "joined" Moore on his walks, using the Twitter hashtag #MikeTakesAWalk.

@MMFlint: "Ok, everyone - 10 minutes before we head out the door. All u need is a pair of shoes. Thousands of us just going for a walk. #MikeTakesaWalk"
