25. That's true, but what I don't understand is how he gets away with it.

Why hasn't every single Democratic congressperson/Senator/other official come out and denounced him in the strongest possible terms? Why haven't we seen op-ed columns in the major newspapers doing the same? Where is our Joseph Welch - you know, the guy who took on Joe McCarthy? Why won't somebody just stand up and say "You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?" He also said to McCarthy: "Senator, you won't need anything in the record when I finish telling you this. Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty, or your recklessness." I would like to see every single Democrat say something like that, on the record, instead of issuing weasel statements.
