OK. Not really, but that's the closest comparison I could come up with for Mitt's holding a fundraiser with the Donald.

Can you imagine the uproar? But all I've seen out of the MSM about Mitt's cavorting with the repulsive, cartoonish Donald is that it cold pose a political risk. What I haven't seen- and maybe they're out there, but I can't find them- are editorials slamming Mitt for his association with a man making outlandish and essentially racist charges against the President.

Mitt's association with Le Trump, should by all rights, hurt him. The MSM treating Trump as legitimate goes to removing the dangers of said association.
