1. The economy is looking shakier and shakier

and our economy isn't the only one or the worst. When it finally goes, it will be worldwide. Whether the next depression will lead to the next (and probably last) world war is anyone's guess.

If any of us survive that followed by climate collapse, we'll be back to short lifespans and living via sticks and stones, but with a hell of a lot less out there to hunt for food. We will, however, have some fantastic rubbish to go through to augment our tools.
