1. I think we have reached the apex of Repub dominance at the state level

They will reign supreme for a few more years; but Dems will start clawing their way back in 2016 as voters wake up and realize how crazy and incompetent their Repub state legislators are. Keep an eye on the FL and TX legislatures as those majorities will begin eroding in the not so distant future while legislatures in places like VA and WI return to Democratic hands.
