...to break the law, he wouldn't have any trouble obtaining firearms even in California where the "loophole" has been closed by requiring most private-party transfers to be done through a dealer.
...set up for the sole purpose of circumventing the law. Nobody who engages in this scheme, or defends it, is a "law abiding citizen".
Unsupported claim. Obviously plenty of perfectly lawful activity happens at gun shows.
