(14,061 posts)...you pick your battles. I agree the messages on the mail are obnoxious, but responding will just ratchet up things more. Is it worth it?
ON EDIT: I also wonder just what the letters said that were ripped down. As we've told our kids when they were teased, people who see easily riled targets tend to keep piling on. Best to be the grownup and move on. If there is some concern about packages being defaced, can they make arrangements for a neighbor to take them if they aren't home (provided they are on friendly terms with any of their neighbors), or give the post office instructions not to leave them and they will pick them up at a PO branch?
This time of year you just have to put up with a lot of personally annoying stuff. That's just the way it is.
