(710 posts)I'm sorry you have had to go through that and I wish you didn't have to.
But the fact remains that these instances of bigotry and racism occurred against you on an individual basis, and even though I am hopeful that one day you will never have to experience them again, I am also realist enough to know that that is a pipe dream, because just like any other crime, there will always be someone ready to risk the full weight of the law no master how hard we advocate against it.
we should advocate against it anyway in the hope we can stop it.
But let's first focus on removing the racism and bigotry on a national scale that incites millions to adopt racist and bigoted attitudes against a minority.
Right now Muslims are the latest target of this national racism and bigotry, and so we should focus on stopping that.
Once we have eliminated this racism and bigotry that occurs on a national scale (which incidentally never includes anti-semitism and we all know why), we can move on to trying to eliminate it on an individual basis which is what you have and are suffering from .
