No one is conflating Israel and Jewish people.

But if a presidential candidate or any major politician is fearful of saying anything negative about Israel because of groups like AIPAC, then it only stands to reason that those same politicians would never dare utter one word critical of Jewish people because of that same AIPAC organisation.

Whereas, these same politicians will stand up and proudly display negative attitudes against Muslims, LGTB people, Hispanics, African Americans etc, because instead of being fearful of criticising these other minorities, these national politicians rely on this criticising to garner them extra support.

Thus my cooment about how Israel and the Jewish faith in general is a protected species on a national scale.
