First, what happens when they cannot hire staff with those educational credentials for those salaries? Charter where I used to live hired teachers with just HS, and some TA's who were drop outs, of HS. Do you think the students passed the State Tests? The parents were furious over that. They were the ones who started contacting the State.

One parent sued the school. Her son was bitten by a RAT at school. When the Heath Department came to inspect, they found extreme unsanitary conditions all over; garbage, varmints and feces, etc. I guess the corporation "person" didn't want to spend the money to hire custodians. The local press was all over this. Yes, the State shut this Charter School down.

Maybe the public will have to see how bad it can be before they understand.
