She has made Germany not only respectable again, but profitable and the back up/backbone for the EU. I did not know that she spent her first 35 years in Communist East Germany, for instance. That was a long but a good read...highly recommend. Of course, it does make one yearn for the days when America had proud and accomplished leaders.

Anyone remember Bush rubbing her back/shoulders at some state dinner? What a clueless, misogynist idiot. That said it all, right there.
