29. Given the frequency of this "shredding" it seems they need some major redesigning

Given how badly the Enterprise gets fucked up even couple of years or so, you'd think they'd fire Scotty and hire an engineer who can plan ahead for a safe ship instead of that constant improvisational jerry-rigging the dude's notorious for.
