In reply to the discussion: Texas GOP Official Threatens To Slap The Next Person Who Tells Him ‘Happy Holidays’ [View all]yeoman6987
(14,449 posts)52. Cuz it's Christmas. I say happy Christmas Eve to everyone on the 24th
And merry Christmas on December 25th. I actually start saying merry Christmas to everyone on December 1st. It amazing how happy they all are to say it back so freely like without reservation. It really is a beautiful thing and the best time of the year. To be honest, I wish everyone was so nice all through the year. What a pleasant country we'd have.
Of course my Christmas party was December 12th this year at my home. 73 excited friends and neighbors getting together to just have a good time and forget all the nonsense for a nice evening. My Christmas party is the event of the year for most so I make it special.

You don't get to dictate that others MUST say to you what YOU want to hear...

What a doofus. He can't control what other people say. He can always respond, "Merry Christmas"
