Whether you agree with the decision or not, the Admin gave the criteria, and presented three cases. If someone feels compelled to declare that they will not vote for someone in the general election, even if that person wins the primary, and then take it a step further and say you should all do the same thing too, or someone wants to use a play on words, whose intent was to refer to the female candidate with that slur, then those are the ground rules.
We are in control of what we say, and what message we want to convey, and no one here is that naïve that they don't know when they are pushing the limits of what is inappropriate.
No one forces anyone to state who they will vote for in the general election, and I cannot understand why some folks feel the need to push that, but that is their choice if they want to, and if they go too far and it is deemed over the point of no return by the admins, it really shouldn't come as any surprise.
If he wants, he can try to appeal to admins, make a good case, and get them to reconsider, but the final decision will still be the Admins
It would be really nice if people could argue their differences in a civil way, and perhaps gain new insight into why an opinion they may have held may be wrong, but I am skeptical that a lot of people here really want that type of engagement.
"And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence"
1963-1964 Paul Simon, Sounds of Silence
