49. There was no reason for me to have one for all those years.

I wouldn't dream of traveling without my kid and I couldn't even leave the state without consent from her father so there was no reason to get a passport. Technically, I can't take her to the Ren Fest in Bonner Springs, KS without his consent.

In a couple of years she'll be of age and we won't have to worry about her father' tantrums over travel ever again.
