Yes, these nut case militia people have come to Oregon to make a stand. They are not from Oregon, but from Nevada and Arizona. The local townspeople are good folks and have learned how to get along with others after more than 150 years of living in a small town together with differing opinions. The rough edges are worn off for the sake of community.

I love this beautiful refuge where we used to spend Thanksgiving with friends. Locals are friendly and tolerant of we city folks and no discouraging words are spoken. For this progressive fourth generation Oregonian, it hurts when the media echos that this militia is from Oregon.
