(233 posts)I generally don't get in peoples' faces, but I'm so done with the tea baggers/sovereign citizens/miltia whackjobs.
So when one of the articles mentioned that Ron Gainer, owner of a local RV park, had delivered them chili, I googled him and found his phone number. The lady who answered the phone (I used the 800 number, to cost them that extra 50 cents) said that Mr. Gainer was "unavailable." I tried to be as polite as possible, but I think she took exception to me asking her why she was delivering food to an armed insurgency against the U.S. government. Actually, yes, she got a bit upset, so I started feeling guilty.
Until she said she had a right to make a profit selling them her food.
Well, I told her she should probably find good legal representation, since according to U.S. anti-terrorism laws, she could probably be found guilty of aiding and abetting. Assuming, of course, that the Feds do arrest the Bundy clan.
I apologized for taking up her time, and politely ended the call.
