But I do believe my definition is much more in line with what people think of terrorists: blowing up stuff, killing random people.

By the FBI definition, a sit in in a college library could be easily cast as terrorism, and it's not.

Whatever the definition, I am most upset about what is getting lost in all this: the rancher (who has nothing to do with these idiots) received an absurd sentence for what was clearly an accident -- and an accident that caused no lasting damage.

A controlled burn got out of hand and burned some scrub land. There is no lasting damage and, in fact, some invasive non-native plants were destroyed, which is good riddance.

The BLM had a controlled burn and burned down most of the forest surrounding my home some years ago. No one got arrested or even fined. It shouldn't happen, but it does sometimes.

The federal judge called the sentence "cruel and unusual" ---- and he's 100% correct. This is just the BLM being a bad neighbor.
