we never had to think about it. I'm talking about justice, you're talking about politics. There are millions of victims here, and I do not agree that the Senate would have flipped. We don't know that, the public has no idea of the extent of the lies they were told, or the consequences to many innocent victims. Were they to get a dose of the facts, as happened with Nixon, why do you have so little faith in the people's sense of justice?

But basically what you are saying is that no US president can ever be prosecuted for crimes, no matter how serious they are because we can't risk the political fallout. Do you realize the implications of that? We DO have a class of people who are above the law. So there are no restraints on someone once they reach the WH at all. They can commit all the crimes they want with zero consequences. A lawless country.
