36. Fun Story

I remember when I was a kid, playing Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, my old fashioned father would scream for me to "shut that shit off"....hahaha he hated Bowie, he actually didn't like Lennon that much either, but..... until one day when we happened to be driving, and a new song came on the radio, and he just flipped over it.... So China Girl became one of his favorites at the time... He asked who is singing this....I'm like oh great what another Bowie cutdown.... I almost peed myself when he said no this is great.....I told him it was Bowie, and he didn't even flinch, actually thinking he didn't ever remember Ziggy Stardust......hahaha.

Interestingly enough, although I did like David Bowie, I am and have been drawn to Kurt Cobain's version of Man who Sold the World since MTV Unplugged showed it......
