Having a lot of money doesn't mean you magically acquire the ability to manage it. Ironically it seems like some of the smaller winners (several million rather than multi millions) go the most hog wild. When you are living paycheck to paycheck a million dollars seems like a lot of money. It is, but only if you manage it well and don't get greedy trying to turn it into a lot more money.
