To ensure you don't blow it all immediately.
So after paying off any existing debts, I'd figure out my new yearly salary. It's the money I pay me to put the rest of it "to work".
Then 2,5, 6. With trusts for nieces, nephews.
Then I'd look to buy into existing businesses. Might do this to help friends.
Then set up a charitable nonprofit that would become self sustaining.
But, all of it needs to be "engaged" so I can't just blow it all.
Then, my personal Salary is just for me. Create a budget, even if it's lots of money, and use that to travel, take some silly financial risks, do interesting things.
