...it's really putting a damper on my day
I drive a 1965 Chevy pickup truck with a V8 that gets about 9 miles per gallon. She told me I need to get a hybrid or else our relationship is in question. She's 20 years younger than me and several degrees out of my league...so I don;t want to take this too lightly.

1/19 UPDATE:
I couldn't handle all her drama, so I told her to get to steppin'. I am taking this as an opportunity to re-establish my game. If any DU ladies are interested, send me a PM. (Must be 20-25yo. And smoking hot.)

You'd think she'd at least give you points for having a tree in your pickup bed

It takes more energy to make a new hybrid than you'll use with your old truck.

Buy some carbon credit and have a reputable organization plant some trees or whatever they do...

Guess it depends on how much you love her and how much you love your truck. Good luck.

Anyone who would issue an ultimatum as petty as that would give me serious pause

Nice looking old Chevy. Since it's not original, you could put a small motor in it.

You might want to give them a heads up, since you've put them at risk of a sexual harassment lawsuit

Your truck is a classic and irreplaceable. The gf, not so much. I'd choose the truck over her for

You could pour some oil on those troubled water by getting rid of the 403 and install a Chev 350
