In reply to the discussion: My girlfriend and I got in a big fight. She wants me to stop driving my "o-zone buster" (UPDATED) [View all]LittleBlue
(10,362 posts)123. I was going to say "dump her" until I read the part
where she's younger and out of your league.
Gotta take that hit, bro. Get yourself a hybrid and take this loss like a man.
You could put it in storage and not tell her. Just make sure she doesn't find out or else she'll think that you're hedging against the relationship not working out (you are, but she doesn't have to know). Or if this particular truck itself isn't sentimental, sell it and buy another later if you break up.

It takes more energy to make a new hybrid than you'll use with your old truck.

Guess it depends on how much you love her and how much you love your truck. Good luck.

Nice looking old Chevy. Since it's not original, you could put a small motor in it.

You might want to give them a heads up, since you've put them at risk of a sexual harassment lawsuit

Your truck is a classic and irreplaceable. The gf, not so much. I'd choose the truck over her for
