Maybe they'll start picking them off one by one as they go into the Burns no-tell motel for a night of warm sleep in a real bed with a hot shower to use.

The Feds seem happy to let them freeze their damned fool asses off for the duration. The locals know they're completely destroying one of the few tourist attractions the town had, drawing birders and hikers who'd spend money in town. The locals might be the ones to confront them en masse to try to kick them out.
