You are wrong about the worst band
There have been plenty of really bad bands, like all boy bands
I believe that you have to view them within the genre their music was/is in -that of country "rock" which really came out of L.A.,
we had every type of music genre available to us back in the late '60's & early seventies , & we were really lucky to be exposed to all of that,
back then I had a lot of friends who were musicians, some in name bands, some never made it,
some of my friends were in the Jackson Browne, Joanie Mitchell, L.A. "country" music scene
The Eagles played a lot in a club in Topanga Canyon early on, I never liked them enough to go see them,
but they did write some good songs,
I just like stronger, more powerful music, & we had a lot of it back in those days
