196. I actually found my post from 2014 on FB

So looking at this list - Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, ELO, Journey, Styx, Grand Funk, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi, and so on, all NOT in the hall of fame. I started to wonder who IS. Some of them I read and ask "who?" Procul Harum? Oh, and the Guess Who, not in either. But Grandmaster Flash IS in. Somehow I missed in when, as Wiki writes they "rose to fame in the early 1980s". The Hall of Fame appears to be a bit of a joke.


Also, if you are the Baseball Hall of fame wouldn't it to be kinda silly to induct a bunch of soccer players? And yet the supposed ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame has reggae musicians and rappers in it. Run DMC and Jimmy Cliff - yeah, that's rock and roll.

Since then I see they finally got around to inducting Kiss and Cheap Trick and Joan Jett.

But what the heck. It's far more important to induct the Dave Clark 5 and the Beastie Boys. 3 Dog Night? Nope. Paul Butterfield Blues Band - yep. Maybe he was huge in the Blues, but again, another basketball player inducted into the baseball hall of fame, while famous baseball players are left on the sidelines.
