9. yesterday i left phone messages

for all three of them. jeff merkeley responded today. his response was (form letter) similar to his posting on fb a few days ago - assuring he is keeping a close watch on the situation. i take this to mean he is letting persons of influence know his constituency are very concerned. he thanked me for my concern.

defazio sent a letter last week appraising his constituency of his attention and concern regarding the occupation.

have not heard from wyden. he represents the next county over.

next, the governor - not that she seems to be able to do much of anything regarding a federal issue, although, i would think the citizens in burns would be of concern to her.
