4. that would be a pretty different kind of university

i imagine that small liberal arts colleges are still places where one can get an education like that. big universities are so all about the money. even if you are not going into debt and can therefore afford to do something more than quasi-vocational training, you still have your choice of courses taught by underpaid overworked adjunct lecturers without job security or mega lectures by the tenured profs, not to mention a proliferation of online courses.
