That's how earthquakes work. I was in a magnitude c. 7 one, and we had aftershocks for days - it was the only time I've ever felt an earthquake outdoors. We were still getting them six months later. Now if there were no aftershocks, that would be something remarkable.

At least no one (that I've seen, yet) has been going on about fracking - yet.
