25. He did have some type of bariatric surgery for weight loss.

Not sure how long ago that was....maybe two years? He did appear to lose weight for a while but as all of us who have struggled with weight issues know, keeping the pounds off is difficult. With bariatric surgery, you must follow the dietary/lifestyle changes forever or you risk regaining any weight you lost. I have known at least a couple of people who had bariatric surgery and successfully lost significant amounts of weight and kept the majority of it off.

Christie has been on the campaign trail for months. If he has not been sticking to his weight loss plan, chances are good he regained most if not all of what he lost. I try not to judge anyone about weight issues since I have dealt with the problem since my 40s. He certainly wanted to slim down if he would subject himself to surgery in order to lose weight....a procedure not without risk...including death.
