4. It's a real non-issue to me.

Today's right leaning Corporate Democrats that have wrested control of the party do not represent me (I'm far, far, far, from millionaire status), and their ideals are nothing like the Democratic Party I grew up with, so were he to revert back to Independent I could certainly understand why.

If the establishment wins by hook or by crook and the Party continues to be nothing more than the Blue Hand of the elites, then I would actually look to another party or return to being an independent myself.

I have loyalty to ideas and passion, not any controlled party.
